ANGEL BREAD

 8 slices French bread (one day old)
 150 g marmalade or strawberry jam
 500 ml milk
 4 eggs
 100 g butter for frying
 100 g sugar
 1 level tsp cinnamon

Spread the jam or marmalade on a slice of bread and place another slice on top of it, repeat with the rest of the bread

Wet the bread with the milk and place in a container, allow to soak for about 1 hour

Mix the sugar and cinnamon together

Beat the eggs

Heat the butter in a pan

Dip the bread in the eggs and fry in the butter till it turns golden

Serve on a pale and sprinkle cinnamon on both sides
