Scotts Supermarket

A family run operation, the Scotts brand is built upon a heritage of providing customers with wholesome, fresh and tasty food, as well as friendly, accountable service. The Company was launched in spring 2002, with the Naxxar supermarket opening that summer. The Attard branch and central warehouse opened in 2003 and between 2005 and 2008 Scotts Ltd launched a further 5 supermarkets in various locations across Malta.

Having been formed with the sole purpose of running Scotts Supermarkets, Scotts Ltd seized the opportunity to heavily invest in the successful development of its supermarket brand. Having previously owned clothing company Peter Blond, the company repositioned their dedicated staff who injected their trademark vigour, years of experience and long-time loyalty into the development of the supermarket chain. 

Having already grown substantially in a short space of time, the company thrived. Scotts Ltd acquired its Burmarrad outlet as its first flagship store and later took over a further four. Today the company is a strong competitor on the local market and continues to go from strength to strength, building on its ethos that always puts the customer first.
