OATS AND DRIED FRUIT BALLS

Makes 20

Ingredients

100g sunflower seeds

50g pitted dates

1 level tsp finely grated orange zest

30g coconut oil

100g nut-free granola

25ml orange juice

 

Method

-          Chop the sunflower seeds in a food processor until they become very fine; add the dates and the orange zest and continue to process until finely chopped; add the coconut oil and whiz to a sticky paste; add the granola and continue to process to a fine crumble then add the orange juice to achieve a firm sticky dough

-          Roll heaped teaspoons of the mixture into balls slightly smaller than a walnut (about 15g each) and roll in a coating of your choice

-          Rembel it-tahlita fi blalen ftit izghar minn gewza (madwar 15g il-wahda) u gerbibhom fil-kisi li tixtieq
